Talk to Your Money
Now Claw can buy, sell, and manage your assets
Yesterday evening, after chatting with users in the Telegram channel, I deployed an MCP server feature for Deltabadger. Now, you can connect it to Claude or OpenClaw and your agents can talk to the app and do crazy things on your behalf like:
Every Monday invest $100 into the most promising US stock based on sentiment on X.
Show me my portfolio with total PnL across all connected exchanges.
I need to take $1000 out of my portfolio, which asset do you recommend to sell?
Such a feature would take weeks to deliver even a year ago. It took a few hours.
Fun fact: later on the same evening I posted a little “rage baiting” post on Linkedin:
The “hook” in the first sentence triggered a lot of people, so they vastly missed the main idea that comes later, but what stood out even more is that many programmers are not aware of the current state of AI. They don’t believe AI delivers working software, and are confident that without a senior developer it’s impossible to build any serious project. Which was true… half a year ago.
What is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol — it's an open standard developed by Anthropic that lets AI models like Claude talk to external tools.
In the app, it looks like this:
Quick connection to Claude, and… you can talk to your money:
I’ll be honest, I’m not yet entirely sure what is the best use case for it, but it’s likely… all of them. This may be the new interface in the long-term. I can imagine in a year it will become the main way you interact with your investments.
Testing and Safety
There are some valid concerns about safety. We all know that agents still hallucinate, and “money hallucinations” can have serious consequences. That’s why you can control your exposure by limiting it to read-only functions, or activate “paper trading” and play with making trades without spending real money.
You’ll need a https:// URL, so for hosting locally the open-source version, you can get it with Ngrok or Cloudflare tunnel.
I’ll be grateful if you can share your thoughts and maybe request a feature you miss.
Alpaca
Using Deltabadger for stock investing is finally possible thanks to Alpaca—a US-regulated, API-first broker that feels more like Kraken, but still gives you the regulatory protections that come with FINRA membership.

It's never been easier to build.
It's also never been harder to figure out what to build.
Fortunately, there are users asking for features and giving me feedback. Whether you use the hosting or host the app yourself, the Window Portfolio can look as simple as this:
It's hard to find time for writing. I'm thinking about making some short talking-head videos, since writing weekly seems to be harder than I expected. But for now, I will go with the flow. Till the next one.

The piece is always excellent, and I am truly looking forward to utilizing this feature in the coming months. 🙌
